Find the deal. Know your numbers.
Treasure Hauls brings estate finds, home goods, tools, and gadgets to live Whatnot shows with Jared and Ruthann. If you’re buying to resell, start with the item’s condition and your total costs.
Before you bid
- Ask what was tested, what is missing, and which flaws are visible.
- Compare completed sales for the same model and condition—not just asking prices.
- Include shipping, tax, platform fees, packing, returns, and your time.
- Set your maximum bid before the auction. Leave room for uncertain resale value.
Example: a $40 resale estimate is not a $40 margin. Deduct your acquisition cost and every selling expense first. The calculator uses your estimates; it does not fetch current platform fees or guarantee a profit.
